Webinar Overview

When a patient in crisis refuses Western treatment, how do you ensure both safety and clinical success?

This on-demand CEU course follows an experienced practitioner through a high-risk case of hyperthyroidism. Guided by the Six Conformations model, treatment was based on classical diagnostics—not modern symptom management. The result: symptoms resolved, and thyroid markers (T3, T4, TSH) returned to normal within months.

Even more surprising? This ‘impossible’ recovery happened using primarily warming herbs—precisely the opposite of what most would expect in a hyperactive condition.

This is for anyone looking to expand their toolkit with evidence-based classical approaches, or if

  • You want more than basic Zang-Fu diagnosis
  • You are a clinician working with endocrine disorders or complex cases
  • You are seeking practical case-based learning in Classical Chinese Medicine
  • You are uncertain about how to manage patient resistance to biomedicine

Why This Case Matters

This isn’t just another case study—it’s a masterclass in clinical courage and classical precision that could transform how you approach complex endocrine cases. This class demonstrates how Classical Chinese Medicine can safely and effectively handle conditions often thought to be untreatable without pharmaceuticals. It shows you how to hold strong clinical boundaries, honour classical principles, and deliver measurable results—even in high-stakes situations.

About the Teacher

Guy Sedan

In 2004, I completed a formal 4-year study program at Medi-Sin, focusing on internal medicine and the psychological aspects of healing. Under the mentorship of Prof. Guan and clinical psychologist Gili Tzur, I integrated acupuncture, herbs, Tui Na, and “talk therapy” into my clinic. In 2010, I began following Sharon Weizenbaum’s blog, and in 2016, I committed to the Graduate Mentorship Program (GMP). Sharon’s teachings transformed my diagnostic skills and clinical confi dence, particularly in handling complex cases. This program also deepened my appreciation for the classics, especially the Shang Han Lun
