Course Overview

This course addresses a commonly seen disorder in the paediatric acupuncture clinic – urinary tract infections (UTIs). Acupuncture can be of great value in both acute and chronic or recurrent UTIs in children.

During this class, we look at what causes UTIs in children and how to differentiate the patterns seen from a TEAMS perspective. Most importantly, we take an in depth look at how to treat the condition with both acupuncture and non-needle techniques. We will see how acupuncture can break the cycle of infection and repeated anti-biotics, enabling a child to once again thrive.
