In this course, Rebecca Avern & Dr Yair Maimin share their perspectives and experience with childhood trauma. They offer some helpful insights for working with childhood trauma in children and adults.

Childhood trauma can be a challenging subject to talk about, but it’s essential to know how to help those who have experienced it.

Rebecca Avern shares insights on childhood trauma based on her experience working with traumatized children in the clinic. She describes what we, acupuncturists, can offer these kids and their families.

Yair Maimon describes how, if untreated or unresolved, childhood trauma leaves its imprint on adulthood. He discusses how this might manifest and what we might notice in our adult patients. He also shares some relevant points and strategies we should all be familiar with.
