By taking this course, you will

  • Comprehend the intricate concept of Tian Gui within the context of Chinese medicine.
  • Discern the intricate network of organs and meridians that facilitate the flow of Tian Gui, and grasp how this flow transforms across the various stages of a woman’s life.
  • Gain insight into the chronological cascade effect of each phase on subsequent stages, facilitating an in-depth comprehension of potential pathological gynecological developments.
  • Enhance proficiency in differential diagnosis techniques for gynecological conditions, thereby advancing clinical expertise in this specialized field.

Course Overview

It’s common to think of Tian Gui as a monthly menstrual bleeding. Therefore, most of the diagnosis regarding menstrual problems and conditions involves Liver Blood disharmony. It is usually a correct assumption, but it is a superficial one.

Tian Gui is a deep philosophical concept that not only has to do with monthly menses, but with the whole fertility cycle and phases through a woman’s life. It is as crucial to understand this concept, as it is important to understand the impact of dysmenorrhea in the early years on a woman’s approach towards her body and her feminine awareness as a grown up. And this is only one example out of many.

In this class, we will discuss the inner evolution of a woman through the cycles of life and Tian Gui and the ways in which this evolution may manifest during different phases of her life. We will explain the whole system of organs and meridians that conducts those changes. Hopefully, this will give you many practical ideas for sharpening your clinical approach to gynaecological treatments in your practice.

I enjoyed this short course on Tian Gui very much. TCM has so much wisdom to empower, educate and help her feel more joy and pleasure in her stages, her life gates, rather then her menstruation being a problem or a decline in her vitality of life.

Both presenters clearly have great passion on this topic and I would love to take another course with them in the future.

Thank for this wonderful deep dive into the philosophical meanings and interpretations of Tian Gui in relation to the different stages of a woman’s life. I thoroughly enjoyed this webinar & feel it will give me yet another level of depth of understanding when diagnosing my clients. I also appreciate the good clinical examples given when answering the questions from audience. Thank you 🙂
