By taking this course, you will

  • Explore the role of the Hun in dreams and meditation.
  • Apply your knowledge about the Hun directly to point selection and treatments.
  • Learn from clinical examples.

Course Overview

The usage of acupuncture unfolds when we gain an insight into the Inner Alchemy (Neidan 內丹), which is the underlying thread of Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

An important dynamic relates to understanding the human soul, as it is represented in the relation between Hun 魂 and Po 魄. This knowledge helps to uncover the underlying causes for many disorders, for example, personality disorders or depression, as well as gain insight into the mystery of dreams and nightmares.

In this course, Dr Dominique Hertzer and Dr Yair Maimon focus on the diagnosis and treatment of the three Hun-souls, their role as the root of suffering and motivation in life, including the relation of the three Hun to the Liver, Blood and spirit (Shen), illustrated with clinical examples of treating prenatal traumas and mental diseases. The deep essence of treating the Hun is transformation.

Liver 14, for example, can treat depression and panic attacks but simultaneously enhance imagination and movement forward and connect to the potential of the Hun souls.

This course will give you both a deep theoretical and classical view of the three Huns and the clinical application of acupuncture to create deep healing.
