The 12 Earthly Branches: Applying the Wisdom of the Chinese Animals to Acupuncture Treatment
This course was part of a series where CT Holman completed those teachings with live sessions about the Stems. If we run that part again in the future, we will let you know.
By taking this course, you will be able to
- Understand the energetic nature of each of the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals (earthly branches).
- Diagnose disease patterns based on seasonal energy.
- Create acupuncture prescriptions based on the time of the year.
The Earthly Branches are represented by the 12 Chinese zodiac animals that symbolize personality traits, time segments, health conditions, organ systems, and acupuncture channels. Clinically, this information can be used to predict disease patterns, anticipate emotional imbalances, and design acupuncture point prescriptions.
CT Holman presents an easy-to-use method to treat patients based on the animal monthly qi. He explains several point combinations, suggests food cures, and shows videos to demonstrate point location and needle technique. The information for this comes from CT’s decade-long study under Master Zhongxian Wu and CT’s textbook Shamanism in Chinese Medicine.
