Course Overview
The Chinese ancient wisdom teaching discusses the 10 heavenly stems that influence health. Clinically, this information can be used to predict disease patterns, anticipate emotional imbalances, and design acupuncture point prescriptions.
CT Holman presents an easy-to-use method to treat patients based on the animal monthly qi. He explains several point combinations, suggests food cures, and shows videos to demonstrate point location and needle technique. The information for this comes from CT’s decade-long study under Master Zhongxian Wu and CT’s textbook Shamanism in Chinese Medicine.
Outline:
Part 1:
1 hour: Introduction of the heavenly stems. Discusses the heavenly stems for the months of December, January, February, and March. Explain the TCM diagnoses commonly seen in these months and point prescriptions commonly used.
1.5 hours: Discuss the heavenly stems for the months of April and May. Explain the TCM diagnoses commonly seen in these months and point prescriptions commonly used.
