Course Overview

In this lecture, Dr. Yair Maimon explores this unique point, REN-22, in depth. Known for its effect on descending Qi, especially of the Lung and the Stomach, and therefore often used in diseases like asthma or reflux, this point is also one of the Windows of Heaven points.

The name „Heavenly Chimney/Rush“ illustrates the throat as a chimney, through which the Qi ascends and descends between the head (Heaven) and the body (Earth). The point’s location indicates its impact on the voice, on a physical as well as emotional level.
