Course Overview
Menopause is a changing time for a woman. In Chinese medicine, this change is natural and primely related to changes in Heaven and Earth and to the extraordinary meridians. And it can be supported in many ways.
From a Heavenly perspective, this change relates to the relationship of the Shen and Jing; this can be seen as a level of deep transformation and inspiration. Pathology on this level will manifest with symptoms such as anxiety, depression, frustration, and insomnia. The treatment is aimed at transformation using Shen and Jing points.
From Earthly perspective these are changes in Jing and the extraordinary meridians – with symptoms such as dryness, hot flashes, night sweats, slowed-down metabolism.
This lecture highlights the heavenly and earthly view with practical treatment strategies and points. Evidence-based protocols and research are also discussed.
