Course Overview

While ancient texts did not specifically mention conditions like hypothyroidism due to the era’s limited scientific knowledge, modern insights can deepen our comprehension of the energetic processes ancient practitioners observed.

In this lecture, we navigate the intricate connection between ancient Chinese Medicine and modern understandings of biochemistry and physiology.

We will focus particularly on hypothyroidism, a condition not traditionally recognized in Chinese Medicine, and its link to fertility challenges.

By examining the similarities in the pathophysiological processes of hypothyroidism and fertility issues, we uncover the critical role of the extraordinary meridian Ren Mai. This session aims to enhance your understanding of Ren Mai and its implications in treating infertility.

We will provide new clinical perspectives for diagnosing infertility linked to hypothyroidism and practical approaches to utilizing Ren Mai in acupuncture. This lecture bridges the gap between traditional wisdom and contemporary science, offering practitioners valuable tools to enrich their practice in the field of fertility and hypothyroidism.
