Dr. John McDonald, PhD

Dr. John McDonald, PhD

"My name is John McDonald. When I started studying a Psychology degree at the University of Sydney in 1970, I was clear that my career goal was to become a clinical psychologist. However by the end of 1971 I found myself working full-time as a trainee psychiatric nurse, studying at university part-time and also studying acupuncture. This has led me to a career of more than 50 years in acupuncture as a practitioner, a teacher, a Dean, a researcher and a writer. Now it is time to give back by sharing all I have learned through books, conferences, webinars and one-on-one mentoring. My favourite things? Acupuncture history, acupuncture research and Brazilian music."
